"My experience treating my teenage son's severe depression and anxiety through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy at Dr. Paradisi's office was very positive.  After trying several different rounds of medications and nothing working "enough," Dr. Paradisi counseled us on the potential benefits of TMS.  After researching extensive studies done by the Mayo Clinic and others, we decided to give it a try - even though we were still somwhat skeptical.  The staff at Dr. Paradisi's office answered my excessive questions and made my anxious son feel comfortable.  He found the treatment to be non-evasive, without any side effects.  After about three to four weeks of consistent treatment, he said "I think I am starting to feel better."  I initially thought it may just be a coincidence or psychosematic.  However, by the end of the sixth week of continuous treatment, he felt significantly better - enough to start reducing his medications. Overall, for him, TMS seems to very effective in treating his depression and somewhat effective treating anxiety. While there is no magic pill or treatment that will ever fix everything, TMS has been a major and critical component in improving my son's mental health and well-being."
